Kent was very flexible with bringing us over to the island at 9pm.
A spooky cross of the lake and walk up to the frame. But this place is magical! Me and my friend will definitely visit again

This is not your typical Airbnb. It is something bigger.
You're not just booking a stay - you're booking a 5-star adventure!
From start to finish, the level of detail in communication, logistics, and planning was absolutely top-notch. The island itself is so thoughtfully organized, it completely blew my mind. It is truly One Big Sustainable Island. Every aspect felt intentional and seamless.
If you are hesitant regarding booking - think no more, you will not regret it.

Basically one of the coolest AirB&B adventures I've had. Free rides, firewood, and kayaks?! Just the best. Kent and the crew have a system down pact- from drinking water to batteries, you are never for want. The A-frame "Acorn Abode" was peaceful. Swimming was great! Loons everywhere, we even saw a baby! The outdoor kitchen was super easy and convenient. Coffee provided was A+++ Looking forward to the day we can return. 1BSI rules!

We had a great time on this island this past weekend! My husband, our 6 month old, and I spent two nights and loved it. So easy to have a full camping experience without the hassle of packing and potentially forgetting things. We were able to hike, fish, swim, canoe, and relax. We felt extremely safe and were super impressed by the accommodations. We are excited to plan our next trip!

I had a great time at Kent’s place! Every step—from arrival instructions to supplies and setup—was clearly thought out and so well organized. It made staying on the island incredibly easy and stress-free. I felt comfortable, safe, and really able to relax. You can tell Kent put care into every detail. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks!

Check-in, check-out, all communication with the owner was A. Great place for some quiet peaceful camping/glamping. Plenty to do, swim, kayak, fish, hike around the island, or just relax…it’s very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen facilities are great. Mind you its a camping kitchen, but grill, propane, utensils, plates, pots pans, everything you would need is provided…except for the food. Cabin was comfortable and clean, plenty of room. Overall I’d say the place is A

We had a fantastic stay in the A-Frame @ Gazebo. Kent had a canoe waiting when we arrived a little past 11am. It’s great since you only need your clothes & food so we brought just a backpack and a cooler. My dog joined us too. We paddled about 30 mins in the beautiful lake full of fish, turtles and ducks to our dock, tied up canoe and unpacked in the A-frame house with gazebo. It’s primitive and adorable and perfect with the gazebo area with gas grill. They have everything down to matches, candles, lights, can openers, plus plenty of firewood if you want to have a fire in the ring. etc. Just bring clothes, food & a book. We sunned on our own dock and floating platform, jumped from the rope swing, swam & enjoyed a gorgeous sunset with a ball eagle flying over us. The next morning we cleaned up, loaded the canoe seeing fish, birds & turtles on the 30 min paddle back to the coast and our car. Just the perfect place on a quiet little island! Kent & staff were great - highly recommended!
