Kent is a great guy! My friends and I had a great experience staying here. It was an amazing get away from reality, where we got to enjoy lake life, peace, and relaxation away from shore. I would 100% recommend.

What a pleasure it was to stay at Loon Point! We drove all the way from New Jersey to stay here with our kids and I’m so happy that we did! My only regret was not staying longer, so next time we’ll come for at least 5 days. The location is SO beautiful and peaceful, and it is a wonderful place for kids to explore and adventure, while simultaneously feeling safe. Our 10 year old twins were so happy here! Kent is a fabulous host- very responsive and eager to please. He helped us feel right at home. Thank you for a wonderful time, and we’ll see you again!

Fabulous time. We spent a good amount of our stay just enjoying the lake and the island, and also checking out some of the local options (can’t recommend Willowsawake winery and Absolem cider enough!) Kent made everything about our stay easy and no need went unmet. Can’t wait to come
Back and check out another lodging option on the island (but Loon Point will be hard to beat!)

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, look no further! The island is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, Kent is extremely friendly and helpful, and your dogs will love being able to roam off leash and swim to their hearts' content. It absolutely DOWNPOURED for 12 hours during our stay, and the roomy tent kept us 100% dry. The floating meditation dock close to our private beach was a plus for fishing, lounging, and jumping off of with the pups. What a wonderful stay!

Kent was very responsive. The view and just the peace and quiet was well needed. Also, the bonding time with our granddaughter was amazing in such a place. Waking up to the sound of the loons was beautiful, the views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle.

I don’t even know where to start. Kent was the most helpful and detail oriented host. He had solutions for anything we needed. I didn’t know what to expect at first, being on an island. When we actually got there, any concerns I had immediately vanished. You could tell Kent was experienced with this and fully describes what to expect on the island from the moment you arrive. Even with multiple other guests staying on the island it felt completely private and like we had the whole thing to ourselves. There was so much to do between the available kayaks, the many accessible swimming areas, the trails around the island to walk, and just sitting and watching/ listening to the wildlife. The amenities even though in some ways rustic, still felt very comfortable. Which was so impressive. I’ve literally had stays in major cities where I felt more uncomfortable. To top it all off, if you do happen to forget something or need more food for some reason, Kent saves the day on a jet ski.

We had a great stay on Loon Point. We were looking for a quick camping trip and this was everything we wanted and more. The space feels private, is peaceful, and has everything needed to be comfortable. We lucked out with the weather but the tent has enough space to hangout if it’s a rainy day. Kent was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back.

It was an amazing gateway from daily routine, to soak in nature and to rejuvenate fully. The place was perfect to satisfy the soul and nourish the soul with birds chirping, sound of winds, amazing sunrise and sunset to witness and to flow in the rhythm of nature - all at once! I was in heaven, enjoyed the lake to the fullest - rope swing, kayaking, swimming and meditating on the floating dock - was a cherry on pie!
Dont think a sec, just go and merge yourself with nature fully! This is THE HEAVEN!
Kent was super responsive and super helpful!

What an incredible spot! This was everything I needed for my first time camping - all the tools and beautiful views and friendly folks, plus so much peaceful privacy. Shoutout to the unexpected elements: this tent was cozy and dry in the rain, and there was fast wifi hotspot for a meeting I unfortunately had to take while on vacation! Thank you, Kent! We can't wait to come back!
